As I told you in class today (or as you'll find out tomorrow), you have two quizzes coming up.
This Friday/Monday: quiz on the perfect squares #1-20 and perfect cubes #1-10. This is going to be a timed quiz (you'll have 1:45); you need to have these memorized as you won't have time to do the multiplication on the quiz. You probably already know the squares for #1-15, so there really aren't that many for you to memorize. I would suggest making flashcards and practicing until you can say them without hesitating (and be sure to keep mixing up your flashcards). You can also click here for extra practice (Scatter and Space Race are good choices).
Next Tuesday/Wednesday: quiz on turning repeating decimals into fractions. Most of you did well on the Unit 1 Test. Of all the problems, though, this type is what was missed the most. You'll be given two problems just like the problems on your "Palm Tree" worksheet. If you know how to do these, great - review them again and you should get an easy A. If you're still not sure how to do them, come see me during homeroom or brunch - you don't want to miss more quiz points.
