Here's some good practice with reflections, rotations, and translations. Click here to play. Decide what transformation needs to occur, and then drag it to the Block 1 box at the bottom. In many cases, multiple transformations will be required (for example: reflect in x=2 and translate 4 units up). Click the "transform" button once you're ready. (When dealing with rotations, 90 degrees means counterclockwise, and -90 degrees means clockwise.)
You can get one extra credit point for playing. Play as many levels as you'd like, but you must complete at least 10 levels in order to get the extra credit point.
Post your first name and last initial under "Name/URL" - and then post your period, the level you completed, and your score. Also tell which of these 3 transformations is easiest for you and why.
This extra credit opportunity expires at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 12. Play as many times as you'd like to try to get the highest score and to get some good practice! :)
Remember that you won't see your post immediately because I have to approve it first - it may even take a day or two over the weekend... Just be sure to check back before the deadline to make sure it was posted. If you still don't see it, check to be sure you followed the directions and repost before the deadline!
Have fun!

The reflect and both transformations were easiest because it was hard to memorize were the rotations went.
Period 2
Level 13
825
Translations were the easiest for me because it was easier to move the shape than rotate or reflect it a certain number of degrees or over a certain line.
Period 5
Level 12
1025
Translating was easier for me because I can just count the number of spaces and translate it rather than using a formula and rotating the shape.
Period 6
Level 14
700
translating and reflection were easy because i just had to count and to rotate i had to move my head in different angles and it gave me a head ache
period 5
level 18
score 1200
rotating and translating were the easiest because i got the most practice using those and there were not as many steps as the others
