A Trick to Remember...
Converting decimals to percents and percents to decimals is easy - as long as you remember which way to move the decimal point. In class today, Ry shared a trick that helps her remember. I had never heard this one before, and I like it. Maybe it will help you...
If you're changing TO A DECIMAL, move it two places to the LEFT (decimaL has an L for left).
If you're changing TO A PERCENT, move it two places to the RIGHT (peRcent has an R for right).
Thank you, Ry!!! :)
