For those of you in my first period class…

Starting this week, you will be able to use calculators in class, on homework, and on tests (unless I tell you otherwise).  A couple of things to know:

~ you may not use the calculator on your phone during class

~ you'll only be using the calculator for basic computations within the problems, so don't go out and buy a fancy one.  A simple calculator from the 99 cent store would be perfect.  If you have a graphing/scientific calculator, for example, that's fine for the most part.  However, you won't be able to use that calculator at all during certain lessons (that would also include tests that cover those lessons).
